Who We Are

Kimberly Knox, LMFT

I have a Bachelor’s of science in Psychology from Texas State University and a Masters of Art from Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been practicing since 2018. My specialty is working with couples and families, although I see individuals as well. I am also a 200 hour Registered Yoga Instructor and offer private sessions to clients in order to bridge the gap between healing the mind and body.

As a creative individual, I try to empower each and every client to find motivation from within. I approach each individual from a systemic perspective and tailor therapy to meet your needs. Growth occurs when we step outside of our comfort zone, take a step with me

Courtney Webb, LPC

Prior to finding my passion in counseling, I earned a master’s in International Studies from Texas State University in 2018. I then joined the workforce and faced some personal hardships that led me to counseling for the first time. My experience completely changed my life and I found myself wanting to give that to others. Which led me to going back to school for  my second master’s, but this time in professional counseling at Texas State University in 2020.

Adolescence is hard- for both kids and their parents. You may notice your child pulling away, feeling anxious or down, or struggling to manage big emotions. As a parent, you want to help—but nothing seems to be working, and the disconnect between you and your child can feel frustrating and painful. You’re not alone. I help children and teens navigate anxiety, depression, and trauma in a space where they feel truly seen and understood.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and direct. I don't just listen—I collaborate with kids to make sense of what they're experiencing and offer practical support to move forward. I also work closely with parents, providing insight into their child’s inner world and concrete guidance on how to respond in ways that strengthen connection and promote healing.

I believe therapy for your child is a partnership. Children and teens are given a safe, nonjudgmental space to express themselves openly, while parents stay involved with regular updates and feedback. This collaborative process ensures we’re not only addressing the child’s emotional needs but also supporting the parent-child relationship along the way.

Rebecca Kelley, LPC-Associate

I received my Bachelor's in Psychology from Texas A&M University–San Antonio in 2014 and earned my Master's in Counseling and Development from Lamar University in 2024.  As a dedicated and caring counselor, I am passionate about supporting both children and adults through life’s most challenging experiences.

Much of my professional experience has been centered on the impacts of childhood trauma on the family unit as a whole. I have had the privilege of working with clients ranging in age from 4 to 70, and I deeply value the opportunity to create a safe, supportive space for each individual. I strive to build genuine connections that allow clients to explore their struggles without fear or judgment.

At the heart of my practice is a belief in the healing power of genuine human connection. My approach to counseling recognizes the deep interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in the healing process. My work integrates emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness, helping clients build resilience and reconnect with their inner strengths.

I approach counseling with empathy, trust, and a deep respect for each individual’s unique journey. It is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they move toward healing, growth, and wholeness.

Trevor Sorrels, LPC-Associate

Supervised by Dr. Amy N. Gorniak, LP & LPC-S

Having been somewhat of a Jack of all trades early in my professional development, I discovered that the trade I find most fulfilling is helping others through counseling. I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi while working as an auto mechanic and physical therapist technician. During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, I began to work in Applied Behavior Analysis as a registered behavior technician, providing behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder. After doing this work for about two years in Dallas, I went back to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi where I earned my Master's of Science in Professional Counseling while continuing to work in Applied Behavior Analysis. I have been practicing counseling since 2024, and view challenges in life as inevitable. Furthermore, these challenges produce internal experiences in the form of thoughts and emotions. Rather than help you build a barrier to hide from these internal experiences or help you eliminate these experiences from yourself, we will work together on how you can confront them in a manner that allows you to live a values-driven life.

I believe I am a great fit as a counselor for those who constantly feel overwhelmed, for perfectionists, procrastinators, those struggling with identity issues, those who are neurodivergent, and self-proclaimed “weirdos.” It is very important to me to provide a nonjudgmental space to you which lays the groundwork for you to flourish! I am incredibly passionate about having an opportunity to guide you to be what you would define as the best version of yourself.

The way you view the world is specifically unique to you. Similarly, the way you ask questions, seek answers, and find hope is distinctly your own.  As your counselor, changing your worldview is not the approach I take. Instead, I work alongside you to better understand it, create space for your curiosity, find resilience, and to navigate life's challenges. Showing up as you are can be intimidating, but know that you are welcomed. I offer an eclectic approach that is tailored towards your goals and needs, which may vary day to day. Regardless of how our work unfolds, your safety and comfort remain at the center of our work together.

I have worked with women's issues, aging-related concerns, life transitions, LGBTQ+, depression, anxiety, first-generation, and more.

You are the expert of your life. I invite you to teach me how you see and move through the world so that we can create room for something new.

This is a space where you can be honest, take risks, and show up as you are. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to explore what feels messy, unfinished, or hard to name.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, disordered eating, obesity, and the emotional challenges that can come with chronic illness. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with a concentration in Dietetics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. Before becoming a counselor, I worked as a park ranger where I learned the power of community, connection, culture and the outdoors. I bring all these elements into my perspective as a therapist and interweave them to support a holistic approach to health through mind, spirit, and body.

I value small, meaningful wins and focus on helping you feel supported, more confident in yourself, and better equipped to navigate life—offering a space that feels warm, grounded, and accepting.

Iddo Hamer, LPC-Associate

Supervised by Shawna M. Corley Ph.D., LPC-S, LCDC, CCTP, NCC

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2019 and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2024, both from the University of Texas at San Antonio. During my clinical internship, I developed a strong passion for working with both young adults and older adults, particularly as they navigate significant life transitions.

At the core of my practice is a holistic perspective that honors each individual’s life experience and unique path. I believe it is essential to consider the many dimensions of a person’s life in order to understand how they arrived at their current circumstances and to support them in moving forward with intention and self-awareness. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore their concerns with empathy and trust. It is both a privilege and an honor to walk alongside individuals as they work toward greater clarity, balance, and well-being.
